Countdown to the Next Super blood moon

"And I will show wonders in the heavens, and in the earth, blood and fire and pillars of smoke.  The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of Jehovah."  Joel 2:30 -31

There has been a lot of buz on this and the next one will occur in September next month but before we go into details, we need to find what exactly is a blood moon and its significance in the past. There is need to understand its occurrence sequence and how it has impacted our world.

What is a Blood Moon?

Blood Moon is a term that is used to describe a lunar eclipse. A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes directly behind the Earth. This can occur only when the Sun, Earth, and Moon are aligned very closely with the Earth in the middle. Hence, a lunar eclipse can only occur the night of a full moon. Some of the sun’s rays curve around the earth causing the moon to appear red during a total eclipse. Because of its vivid colour, a total lunar eclipse is often referred to by NASA as a Blood Red Moon. The occurrence of blood moons is quite common, normally happening at least twice per year.

A Tetrad

When four blood moons happen in close succession, NASA refers to this as a tetrad. Tetrads are rather rare, only taking place fifty-five times since 1 AD. A tetrad occurring on a Jewish feast days is very rare, it has occurred 8 times in the last 2,000 years.

Mark Blits was the first to observe this and much of the buzz about this should be credited to him. The Jewish Talmud (book of tradition / Interpretation) says; "When the moon is in eclipse, it is a bad omen for Israel. If its face is as red as blood, (it is a sign that) the sword is coming to the world." Therefore: Lunar Eclipse = bad omen for the Jewish people and Israel; Blood Moon = sword coming; Solar Eclipse = bad omen for the world.

Four, blood moons on Jewish Feast days within two years in Israel is very rare and has only occurred seven times since the time of Yeshua (Jesus). There are now four blood moons scheduled to appear in 2014/2015 and then there will NOT be any for the next 100 years.

Every time a blood moon pattern has appeared on Jewish feast days a big event affects the nation of Israel. The event affecting Israel begins just before the actual years of the blood moons. To understand what will happen in the 2014 - 2015 "blood moons" you must understand the pattern of blood moons in the past.

It was confirmed by NASA that we have had "blood-red moons" on the first day of Passover and thefirst day of Sukkoth on back-to-back years seven times since 1 A.D. Three of these occurrences were connected to 1492 (the year the Jews were expelled from Spain by Queen Isabella) , 1948 (statehood for Israel and the War of Independence), and 1967 (the Six-Day War) — some of the most significant days in Jewish history. According to NASA - Four 'blood-red' TOTAL lunar eclipses WILL fall again on Passover and Sukkoth in 2014 and 2015… the same back-to-back occurrences at the time of 1492, 1948 and 1967.

History OF Blood Moon On Jewish Feasts

 Four PARTIAL lunar eclipses occurred on the Jewish Passover in 32 AD – 33 AD and the "Feast of Tabernacles" in the years before and after the Crucifixion of Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus Christ). The world has since witnessed seven "Tetrads" coinciding with events impacting Jewish and Christian culture. 

Seven Jewish Total Lunar Eclipses have occurred in the 1st & 2nd Millenniums:

Four TOTAL lunar eclipses occurred on the Jewish Passover and Feast of Tabernacles in 162 - 163 AD, coinciding with the worst persecution of Jews… and Christians in the history of the Roman Empire. Within 3 years the Antonine Plague killed eight million people, a third of the population.

 Four TOTAL lunar eclipses occurred on the Jewish Passover and Yom Kippur Holidays in 795 - 796 AD while King Charlemagne of the Holy Roman Empire established a DMZ buffer zone between France and Spain, ending centuries of Arab invasions into Western Europe.

 Four TOTAL lunar eclipses occurred on the Jewish Passover and Yom Kippur Holidays in 842 - 843 AD. Shortly after the eclipses the Vatican church in Rome was attacked and looted by an Islamic invasion from Africa.

 Four TOTAL lunar eclipses occurred on the Jewish Passover and Yom Kippur Holidays in 860 - 861 AD. Shortly after the eclipses the Byzantine Empire defeated Arab armies at the Battle of Lalakaon in Turkey and permanently stopped the Islamic invasion of Eastern Europe.

 The last three "Blood Moons" are very important as they affect ISRAEL as we know it today:

Four TOTAL lunar eclipses occurred on the Jewish Passover and the Feast of Trumpets Holidays in 1493 – 1494. (The Spanish Inquisition)

In 1492, King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella of Spain gave the Jewish population a mere four months to convert to Catholicism or leave the country. It is estimated that between 165,000 and 400,000 Jews fled the country at this time. As many as 50,000 decided to stay, converting to Roman Catholicism.

The Spanish Inquisition sought to punish Jews who had converted to Christianity but were not really “sincere” in their conversions. Torture was used to elicit confessions from these “false converts”. After confessing, many of them were then burned at the stake.

The Inquisition was cruel beyond belief. First you tell people they have to convert or die. When they do convert, you place them under severe torture to test the sincerity of their conversions. Once they confess under duress, then you burn them at the stake because they are not true Catholics. These are the types of inhumane horrors that were inflicted upon thousands of Jews during the Spanish Inquisition.

Four TOTAL lunar eclipses occurred on the Jewish Passover and Feast of Tabernacle in 1949 - 1950 during the 1st Arab - Israeli War for Independence just after Israel had become a nation again for the first time in 2,000 years. It should be noted here: that even though Israel declared themselves a nation in 1948, the first permanent government took office on January 25th, 1949. Israel had a transitional government in 1948. In this way the "(Tetrad) four blood moons" can tie to the year 1949 for the first elected office of that year and the birth year could still be 1948.

On 14th May, 1948 - Israel proclaimed its independence. Less than 24 hours later, the regular armies of Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq invaded the country, forcing Israel to defend the sovereignty it had regained in its ancestral homeland. In what became known as Israel's War of Independence, the newly formed, poorly equipped Israel Defense Forces (IDF) repulsed the invaders in fierce intermittent fighting, which lasted some 15 months and claimed over 6,000 Israeli lives (nearly one percent of the country's Jewish population at the time).

During the first months of 1949, direct negotiations were conducted under United Nations auspices between Israel and each of the invading countries (except Iraq, which refused to negotiate with Israel), resulting in armistice agreements which reflected the situation at the end of the fighting.

Accordingly, the Coastal Plain, Galilee and the entire Negev were within Israel's sovereignty, Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) came under Jordanian rule, the Gaza Strip came under Egyptian administration, and the city of Jerusalem was divided, with Jordan controlling the eastern part, including the Old City, and Israel the western sector.

Four TOTAL lunar eclipses occurred on the Jewish Passover and Feast of Tabernacle in 1967 - 1968

The 6 Day War when Israel recaptured Jerusalem. As Israel's neighbors prepared to destroy the Jewish state, Israel invoked its inherent right of self-defense, launching a preemptive strike (5 June 1967) against Egypt in the South.

It was followed by a counter attack against Jordan in the East and the routing of Syrian forces entrenched on the Golan Heights in the North. At the end of six days of fighting, previous cease-fire lines were replaced by new ones, with Judea, Samaria, Gaza, the Sinai Peninsula, and the Golan Heights under Israel's control. As a result, the northern villages were freed from 19 years of recurrent Syrian shelling; the passage of Israeli and Israel-bound shipping through the Straits of Tiran was ensured; and Jerusalem, which had been divided under Israeli and Jordanian rule since 1949, was reunified under Israel's authority.

The Blood Moons of 2014 – 2015… These four TOTAL lunar eclipses and two solar eclipses WILL occur on the Jewish holidays of "Passover," the "Feast of Tabernacles" and the "Feast of Trumpets."

One should make mention here that there are other "tetrads" occurring as well. One tetrad occurred in 2003 - 2004. Future ones other than the 2014 - 2015 are found in 2032-2033, 2043-2044, 2050-2051, 2061-2062, 2072-2073, and 2090-2091… The difference between these "tetrads" and the 2014 - 2015 "tetrad" is that this "tetrad" aligns with the Jewish holidays and the others DO NOT!

2014  -  Israel–Gaza conflict : Palestinians suffered the highest number of civilian casualties since the Six-Day War in 1967, according to a United Nations report, given the July–August conflict, and rising tolls in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. A spike in Israeli casualties also occurred. 2,256 Palestinians and 85 Israelis died, while 17,125 Palestinians, and 2,639 Israelis suffered injuries.

2015 – Iran Nuclear deal signed. This automatically gives Iran the ability to produce nuclear weapons legally after 10 years.

September 2015  - The Convergence of Signs

 In September 2015 there is going to be a convergence of signs. The signs are listed below:

1)      The Super Blood moon 
This will occur on the 28th of September 2015. On this day there will be a Perigee. This is the closest point at which the moon is to the Earth. This is the last blood moon in the 2014 -2015 Tetrad.

2)      The Feast of Tabernacles

The super blood moon above also falls on the feast of Tabernacles. From a biblical perspective, the Feast of Tabernacles pictures the coming time when Jesus will return to earth and directly rule the world for 1,000 years. It will be a time when all the nations learn of the great things that happen when people follow the ways of the God of Israel.  As a consequence, building a sukkah shalom (peace) will spread out from the Great City and will eventually encompass the whole world.

3)    The Shmita Year
The last Shmita year began on Rosh Hashanah in September 2014, corresponding to the Hebrew calendar year 5775. It will end in September 2015. The 50th year of the land, which is also a Shabbat of the land, is called "Yovel" in Hebrew, which is the origin of the Latin term "Jubilee", also meaning 50th. This has always had an impact on the financial world based on patterns seen in the past. It is usually a time of shaking in the financial world.( for more details pls refer to Jonathan Cann's book on the Shmita).

Interpretation

One thing is clear the world will not come to an end and there will not be WW III in September 2015. It certainly does not mean rapture would occur or wouldn't.  A closer look at the three signs could mean that there will be a major shaking that would affect the financial world. This shaking could cause a major re-positioning and some major players might loose their status and will be replaced by new ones. For Israel, its likely that a major offensive against the Jewish nation would be (financial& otherwise) would be organized but in the end the Jews will have a upper hand and will be at an advantage against their enemies. This shall be liken to the Six day war where a war of extermination led to enlargement of coast. 

About the iran nuclear deal, the congress is expected to vote in September. All indications point to the fact that the deal will scale through with the presidential veto.

Conclusion

 This is what the Lord says:

“Do not learn the ways of the nations

    or be terrified by signs in the heavens,

    though the nations are terrified by them."

Nothing is greater than God, nothing is more powerful than Him. He has declared the end from the beginning and his purpose will stand. The enemy will only rage but he cannot thwart Gods plan neither can he outsmart Him. There will be a lot of deception and it will take a high level of discernment to distinguish between what is good from what is of God.  Not all that seems good is from God.

Those who trust in God have nothing to fear but rejoice because during this period there shall be a great wealth transfer to the saints. Some nations will experience judgement while some nations will be blessed.
